The projector Nova by Wemax utilizes DLP technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 2100 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3000:1 at a resolution of UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160. Thanks to its low throw ratio, the model is excellently suited for rooms with limited space. A distance of just 47 cm is sufficient to generate an image width of 2 meters. A look at the light output reveals: The 2100 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 466 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 311 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K. Furthermore, thanks to Android TV, the projector functions as a standalone entertainment center for various video-on-demand services. The integrated Google Assistant ensures comfortable operation, allowing the projector to be controlled via voice commands. For wireless audio output, the projector also supports Bluetooth, making it easy to quickly connect external soundbars. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since the projector supports Chromecast screen mirroring, video signals can also be streamed wirelessly from the end device. The projector was released in 2022 and is officially no longer distributed by Wemax. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.
