Behind the name DP6400x is a LCD projector by Proxima, whose main features include 2200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 400:1 and a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. Looking at practical performance, up to 408 cm can be illuminated with 2200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 272 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since entering the market in 2004, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
