The DP2000S model from Proxima combines LCD technology in the Standard-Portabel sector with 1100 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 400:1 and a native SVGA 800 x 600 resolution. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 2000 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 289 cm can be illuminated with 1100 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 193 cm. The projector was released in 2002 and is officially no longer distributed by Proxima.
