Equipped with LCD technology, the Luxcine ESP300 offers 200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1200:1 and is designed as a versatile projector. The manufacturer specifies a durability of 20000 hours for the LED light source – equivalent to a usable life of 13.7 years at 4 hours a day. Regarding projection size, the value of 200 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 144 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 96 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. With a value of only 28 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. This model dates back to 2010 and is no longer part of Luxcine's current product range.

??Remote control??
Hi have had the beamer for more than 3 years. Unfortunately, the remote control has now broken. Does anyone know where to get a new one or even better post the infrared code (IR code) in hex or decimal format here?

luxcine esp 300
After a year of relatively intensive use, I have nothing but positive things to say about the Luxcine esp 300. The projector has a lens-to-screen distance of 260 cm and produces an image measuring 160 cm x 95 cm with a diagonal of 190 cm. We use it partly for watching TV and movies. The players are an HD satellite receiver and a BlueRay player via HDMI to the projector via a Dolby surround receiver via HDMI. Aligning the projector to the screen was somewhat difficult and time-consuming in order to avoid keystone correction, as this leads to distortion and blurring in the peripheral areas, but once you have overcome this hurdle, you have to adjust the device to your needs, as the default settings normal/dynamic/soft are not quite optimal for my taste (I am a graphic designer). However, this can be adjusted relatively quickly and easily to your own taste using the user mode in the clearly laid out menu. The sharpness is very good, even in the peripheral areas, easy to adjust on the lens and does not change even after hours of prolonged use (there are much more expensive devices where you have to keep readjusting).
HD material (BlueRay/HD television) looks very good, but DVD material and gaming is also absolutely convincing. 720p and also downscaled 1080p are realistic. However, it‘s only really fun when the room is totally darkened (cinema feeling).
On a totally cloudy day (east window) you can watch TV to some extent, but an LCD/LED screen is far better (contrast/black level). If I connect our laptop via HDMI, I can display its native resolution of 1366 x 768 perfectly after a few settings on the laptop and even small fonts are still easy to read, so it‘s good to use as a presentation projector in a semi-darkened room. The remote control works in all directions and makes a good impression, although some functions were not tested as they seem to be intended for the built-in analog TV tuner. The built-in speakers are ok for presentations, otherwise well... There is a zoom function with 3 levels, but this is unnecessary for us as the projector scales all material perfectly.
When I compare the Luxcine with a friend‘s projector (1000,- € FullHD brand device with top ratings), the differences (price/performance) are relatively modest:
- Setup/alignment similarly difficult
- Movies/games only in a dark room - with barely visible better resolution
- Expensive lamp with much shorter service life
- Dust/filter problems
- Electricity costs
- Zoom has to be adjusted again and again when heat is generated
+ Slightly better black/white contrast, black level unsatisfactory at the price
+ Better presentation in brighter surroundings
+ Quieter in Eco mode
Conclusion:
I would buy the Luxcine for myself/us again at the price/performance ratio (approx. 300,-€) and can recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good projector for little money
p.s.:
I am neither an employee of any distributor of this device nor connected with the manufacturer in any way. I was simply convinced by the price/performance ratio.

There are 5 cm missing on the right and left edge? And how does it look at the top and bottom? Might sound silly but maybe the projector should be closer to the screen...?!

I‘ve had the device for about a year. I‘m actually satisfied and have now finally bought a 16:9 screen after projecting the picture onto the wall the whole time. Unfortunately, I now have a problem: although both the projector and the screen are specified as 16:9 format, the right and left edges are missing approx. 5 cm each when the height is correct.
I‘ve already tried all the settings, but I can‘t get the picture any wider. Does anyone have any ideas? Otherwise a great picture via HDMI!

Price/performance is just right
I‘m not an expert, so I had already made a bad purchase before the ESP300 out of ignorance of the technical specifications because I didn‘t want to spend a lot of money on a projector. Now I have the ESP300, and I have to say that the device is more than sufficient for my purposes. As already mentioned here, the room should be as dark as possible (80-90% darkness). If this is the case, the projector is a lot of fun! I use the device mainly for playing PS3 and secondarily for watching movies. The picture is reproduced in a size of approx. 3m diagonal. It should be clear that you can‘t compare such a device with expensive projectors, but the picture is exactly as I imagined it. It‘s sharp and the colors are well reproduced, even though I‘m currently projecting the image onto a white woodchip wall! The device is also not too loud for my taste. If you connect a 5.1 to the projector, you quickly get a real cinema feeling. What surprised me positively was the fact that the picture quality of Blu Rays actually comes across very well. I would give it 5 stars, but there are also negative points: the remote control is not a highlight, it‘s plain and somehow cheaply made. You won‘t find any accessories either, only a mains plug and instructions are included. Otherwise, the device is first class for the money and my intended use, I would recommend it to anyone!

A lot of projector for the money
I‘ve had the device for about 4 weeks now and I‘m extremely satisfied. As the "pre-testers" have already correctly pointed out, you should be aware of the following points before buying:
+ the light intensity is not comparable with a conventional LCD/DLP projector. The room should definitely be darkened (as completely as possible) for a real cinema feeling, then the picture is almost like in the cinema and you can forget any LED or plasma TV, no matter how big. It is also possible in semi-darkness, but the picture then becomes dull and the fun of watching is noticeably reduced.
+ the volume of the fan is considerable. If you have proper surround sound for movies or games, this is not a problem, but in my opinion the projector is not suitable for a quiet slide show, as it quickly becomes annoying.
+ Due to the lack of zoom, the projector must be set up or mounted at a certain distance from the (screen) wall to achieve the appropriate image size (in my case 3.3m distance to the screen with a screen diagonal of 2.3m = 2m image width). The only option here is often ceiling mounting with correspondingly complex cable laying
+ there are 4 different picture modes: normal/mirror-inverted/overhead normal/overhead mirror-inverted. The switching function with subsequent switching off and unplugging is a joke, this could probably be solved better
+ the projector is comparatively large and heavy, there are certainly nicer devices
+ these were the negative points. The fact is that you can‘t find anything comparable for less than €300. I wanted an inexpensive projector with the highest possible resolution for my hobby room for occasional movie watching and found what I was looking for here. In combination with a Blueray drive in the PC and an HD TV card, it‘s the optimum for little money.
The critics ("toys", see below) should be told that you don‘t necessarily have to drive a Porsche, you can also have a lot of fun with a well-motorized VW Polo.

Ok
The projector is unbeaten in its league, as there is no projector with native 720p in this price range. The picture is not "insanely" bright. During the day, the blind should be down, then the picture is respectable, even if it could of course be brighter. If you have dark walls, the picture will certainly look even brighter. The colors are okay, but it struggles quite a bit with some color transitions. I can see this when I open the paint color palette. However, this could also be due to the settings, but what really bothers me the most is the volume. It hangs directly 2m above my bed/sofa. You can hear a clear noise above me. However, I have no comparison here as this is my first projector. I might install other fans
Overall, the projector is fine. If you don‘t want to invest a lot of money but don‘t want to do without pixels, you can definitely go for it. As I said, there is no other comparable projector for the price - so it actually deserves 5 stars.

I‘ve had the projector for a few days and I like it. However, the available space is about 5.50 long, which is apparently not enough for the focus. I can‘t display the entire image because the lens can‘t be moved back any further. Does anyone have any ideas for my problem? Thanks a lot!

Reverse ON/OFF
@Markus 20.11.11
@Fabian 19.12.11
Simply reset the image mode from ceiling mode (System Image Reverse - ON/OFF menu). Then pull out the mains plug so that the device accepts the change.

Picture - mirror-inverted
Hello, I‘ve had the above beamer for two days... I plugged it in and everything went great... Today I took it off the mains because I moved it to another place, connected it, switched it on and suddenly the picture was mirror-inverted. I tried everything, menu, manual etc. nothing helped, so the projector is on a cabinet, is and has never been ceiling mounted... I hope someone can help me
Thanks in advance

Beamer - Test
Now I have finally found the LED projector, according to which the manufacturer‘s specifications seem to be correct:
1. Picture quality is top for an LED projector (much better than some other cheap parts). The brightness of the picture is great. Even when it‘s not necessarily dark. However, it‘s even more fun with the device when the room is completely darkened. Then you get the real "cinema feeling" - and Dolby Digital sound .... Great!
2 It produces real 720p (1280x720). Sufficient for many game consoles (small fonts are still easy to read)
3. Super fast start-up and shutdown (even if you accidentally switch off the device).
4. Minimal heat development. Device can be packed away immediately after switching off (if necessary).
5, The fan noise is kept within limits. It is not excessively loud and if you have the right sound, you won‘t notice the fan at all. Or better: you can get used to it - I previously had an RGB tube projector without a fan.
However, I also have a few negative comments:
1. The device must be absolutely straight and parallel to the screen to display the image optimally, otherwise the image will be blurred at the corners. I would therefore advise against mounting the projector on the ceiling with a slight tilt. You can correct this to a certain extent +-15 degrees...
2 The "Music2FM" function is not active. This is probably because this function is prohibited here in Europe (Germany) and has not been approved by the postal service. It is an FM transmitter.
3 Some buttons on the remote control and also on the device are deactivated or do not correspond to the imprint. The operating instructions (in German) attempt to rectify this problem.
4. Very important: Optimum picture quality can only be achieved if the signal is transmitted via HDMI. Otherwise you may get "ghost images" if you do not use absolute, analog and expensive HIGH-END cable.
5. The built-in tuner cannot do DVB-T. It is a cable tuner. It is a cable tuner.
Conclusion:
If you absolutely want an LED projector at a "low" price - then this one and only the ESP300(x1)

luxcins esp300
hello, can anyone here tell me how many ansi lumens the projector actually has? here it says 2400, on ebay ???2000 lumens/200ansi???, on other sites sometimes 2200, sometimes 1600 - i‘m a bit confused. the same goes for the contrast ratio - sometimes 1200:1, sometimes 800:1. it would also be interesting to find out whether the tv tuner is digital or analog. the ebay dealer can‘t or won‘t answer questions about this. it would be great if someone who owns this device could leave a useful test report. hope for an answer as soon as possible.

Rotate picture
Hello, we initially had the same problem with rotating the picture. We almost despaired. The solution was on a sticker on the inside of the operating instructions. After switching to ceiling mode (System Image Reverse - ON menu), simply pull out the mains plug so that the device accepts the change. You have to figure it out first, but after that it worked perfectly.

Ceiling installation yes or no
I have a question about the device: Dealers also advertise this device with the ability to be ceiling-mounted. This is not specified here in the database. Can the projector do this or not, can anyone help?
