Based on LCD technology, the Luxcine ESP200iH device delivers 350 ANSI lumens, a resolution of SVGA 800 x 600 and a contrast of 800:1 as a projector. The manufacturer specifies a durability of 20000 hours for the LED light source – equivalent to a usable life of 13.7 years at 4 hours a day. To allow for cross-manufacturer brightness comparisons, the stated ANSI lumen value is based on a conversion of the lumen specifications. A look at the light output reveals: The 350 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 100 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 67 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 28 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling. The projector was released in 2010 and is officially no longer distributed by Luxcine.
