According to Appotronics, the AL-TU22KA model provides 22000 ANSI lumens, a contrast ratio of 100000:1 alongside a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution. This is a laser projector with a light source designed to last for 20000 hours. With four hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 13.7 years. Regarding setup flexibility, the model features an optical lens shift function alongside digital keystone correction, allowing for precise alignment without distortion. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Projection Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. A look at the light output reveals: The 22000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 1507 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 1005 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs. The projector was released in 2022 and is officially no longer distributed by Appotronics.
