A projector from Appotronics is the AL-DU835A, whose 3D-DLP model delivers 8300 ANSI lumens, a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200 and a contrast of 100000:1. The manufacturer lists the lifespan for this model at 20000 hours – calculating to 13.7 years at four hours of use per day. Regarding setup flexibility, the model features an optical lens shift function alongside digital keystone correction, allowing for precise alignment without distortion. For maximum setup flexibility, the model supports optional interchangeable lenses, meaning the optics can be precisely matched to individual on-site requirements. Suitable distances can be determined using the Lens Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 8300 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 926 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 617 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Thanks to support for Miracast and Airplay, screen content can also be cast wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet, or PC to the screen. The projector was released in 2024 and is officially no longer distributed by Appotronics.
