The basic data of the Davis DP x16 includes 1100 ANSI lumens, a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768 as well as a contrast of 450:1. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 2000 hours for this projector's lamp. Looking at practical performance, up to 289 cm can be illuminated with 1100 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 193 cm. This device is no longer manufactured and has been removed from Davis's current lineup. Important maintenance note: It is no longer possible to procure replacement lamps for this model.

Long live the old projectors. I‘ve tried many, but this gem is unique. The high black level makes for beautiful projections. The 1100 Ansilumen is not quite right. The projector is extremely bright even in daylight.
