The CineVersum 70 XTRA is a DLP projector offering 1200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 4000:1 and a resolution of HDTV 1280 x 720. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 2000 hours. In terms of image alignment, the model offers an optical lens shift function, allowing the image to be shifted on the projection surface without any loss of quality. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Projector Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 352 cm can be illuminated with 1200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 235 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 30 decibels. The projector was released in 2008 and is officially no longer distributed by CineVersum.
