The M2 model is a DLP projector from ASK, intended for Micro-Portabel applications, offering 1400 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1100:1 at XGA 1024 x 768. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 3000 hours before a replacement is necessary. Regarding projection size, the value of 1400 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 326 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 217 cm. Additionally, a built-in ambient light sensor measures the room lighting and automatically adjusts the projection settings. The projector was released in 2002 and is officially no longer distributed by ASK. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.
