The Wimius K7 is a LED-LCD projector offering 500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 15000:1 and a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080. Wimius lists a runtime of 30000 hours for the LED in this projector – calculating to 20.5 years at four hours of use per day. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. A look at the light output reveals: The 500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 227 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 151 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. Since the projector supports Miracast, Airplay and DLNA screen mirroring, video signals can also be streamed wirelessly from the end device. Since entering the market in 2022, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. This model continues to hold a solid place in our database search queries.
