Based on LCD technology, the WEMI X3AQ projects images in a Short Distance environment, with technical specs listing 600 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 and a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. The LED unit of this model is rated for up to 30000 hours of runtime – equivalent to a usable life of 20.5 years at 4 hours a day. A special feature is the short-throw lens, which allows the device to be positioned at a very short distance from the screen. According to the data sheet, an image width of 2 meters is achieved from a distance of just 160 cm. A look at the light output reveals: The 600 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 161 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 107 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K are supported. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. Since the projector supports Miracast and Airplay screen mirroring, video signals can also be streamed wirelessly from the end device.
