Based on DLP technology, the TAXAN KG-PL105S device delivers 122 ANSI lumens, a resolution of SVGA 800 x 600 and a contrast of 1400:1 as a projector. An LED lifespan of 20000 hours is noted in the data sheet for this model, which translates to 13.7 years with 4 hours of daily use. To allow for cross-manufacturer brightness comparisons, the stated ANSI lumen value is based on a conversion of the lumen specifications. A look at the light output reveals: The 122 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 96 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 64 cm. This model dates back to 2008 and is no longer part of TAXAN's current product range.
