Based on LCD technology, the SVIC S720+ device delivers 613 ANSI lumens, a resolution of WVGA 800 x 480 and a contrast of 800:1 as a projector. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 6000 hours – mathematically sufficient for 8.2 years based on two hours of use per day. To make performance data comparable based on the lumen specifications, we calculated an approximate ANSI lumen value. A look at the light output reveals: The 613 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 117 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 78 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. With a value of only 28 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. The projector was released in 2009 and is officially no longer distributed by SVIC.
