The Puppy Cube is a LED-DLP projector by Puppy Robot, whose specifications list 300 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 600:1 and a HDTV 1280 x 720 resolution. With its built-in wide-angle optics, the device belongs to the category of short-throw projectors. An image width of 2 meters is realized from a short distance of 78 cm. To reduce dependence on stationary power sources, the model is equipped with a built-in battery for autonomous operation. Regarding projection size, the value of 300 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 176 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 117 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 30 decibels. The projector was released in 2019 and is officially no longer distributed by Puppy Robot.
