The Mitsubishi XD2000U is a BrilliantColor-DLP projector offering 3500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 and a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 2000 hours. For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction, granting significant leeway during mounting. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Projector Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 515 cm can be illuminated with 3500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 343 cm. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since entering the market in 2006, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
