The hardware properties of the APT DS100 manufactured by JAVES include 100 ANSI lumens, a WVGA 858 x 600 resolution and a contrast value of 2000:1. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 20000 hours, which amounts to roughly 27.4 years at 2 hours of daily use. A look at the light output reveals: The 100 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 102 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 68 cm. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. Since entering the market in 2011, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
