The equipment of the HOTPEAK PRO6 projector includes 200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1500:1 with a HDTV 1280 x 720 display. The manufacturer specifies a durability of 30000 hours for the LED light source – calculating to 20.5 years at four hours of use per day. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. Looking at practical performance, up to 144 cm can be illuminated with 200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 96 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. Thanks to support for Miracast and Airplay, screen content can also be cast wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet, or PC to the screen. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 25 decibels.
