The projector Argos by DreamVision utilizes DLP technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 3200 ANSI lumens and a resolution of UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160. This is a laser projector with a light source designed to last for 25000 hours, which translates to 17.1 years with 4 hours of daily use. A special feature is the short-throw lens, which allows the device to be positioned at a very short distance from the screen. According to the data sheet, an image width of 2 meters is achieved from a distance of just 42 cm. Looking at practical performance, up to 575 cm can be illuminated with 3200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 383 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. With a value of only 30 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. This model dates back to 2021 and is no longer part of DreamVision's current product range.
