Based on DLP technology, the Dangbei Freedo projects images in a Micro-Portabel environment, with technical specs listing 504 ANSI lumens and a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. The manufacturer specifies a durability of 30000 hours for the LED light source – equivalent to a usable life of 20.5 years at 4 hours a day. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. Regarding the power supply, the projector features an internal battery that enables a mobile runtime of up to 5 hours. Because the manufacturer specifies brightness in ISO lumen values, we have determined an ANSI lumen value for better comparability. Regarding projection size, the value of 504 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 228 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 152 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Additionally, thanks to Google TV, the model is network-capable and can be used without external playback devices. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 24 decibels.
