The CX 69+ model from ChiStar combines LCD technology in the Standard-Portabel sector with 3000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 450:1 and a native XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 4500 hours – mathematically sufficient for 6.2 years based on two hours of use per day. Looking at practical performance, up to 477 cm can be illuminated with 3000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 318 cm. This is a discontinued model that is no longer officially distributed by ChiStar.
