As a projector for the Standard-Portabel sector, the Casio XJ S48 is equipped with 2700 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution and a contrast of 1800:1. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. Looking at practical performance, up to 453 cm can be illuminated with 2700 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 302 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. Since entering the market in 2009, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
