The Nebula Capsule Air model is a DLP projector from Anker, intended for Game-Portabel applications, offering 150 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 400:1 at HDTV 1280 x 720. Anker lists a runtime of 20000 hours for the LED in this projector – equivalent to a usable life of 13.7 years at 4 hours a day. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. For mobile use, grid-independent operation is possible for a maximum period of 2 hours thanks to the built-in battery. Regarding projection size, the value of 150 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 144 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 96 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Additionally, thanks to Google TV, the model is network-capable and can be used without external playback devices. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. Thanks to support for Miracast and Airplay, screen content can also be cast wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet, or PC to the screen. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 28 decibels. Since entering the market in 2024, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. However, it remains frequently searched within our database.
