With the Z9, Akiyo offers a LED-DLP projector that features 150 ANSI lumens and a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080. The built-in LED technology features a light source lifespan of 50000 hours. Daily use of 4 hours makes an operational lifespan of over 34.2 years possible. To reduce dependence on stationary power sources, the model is equipped with a built-in battery for autonomous operation. Looking at practical performance, up to 124 cm can be illuminated with 150 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 83 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. Since the projector supports optional Miracast and Airplay screen mirroring, video signals can also be streamed wirelessly from the end device.
