The projector LP815 by InFocus operates as a Laser-LCD device with 2800 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution and a contrast of 800:1. According to InFocus, the lamp has a durability of 2000 hours. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Distance Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 2800 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 461 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 307 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since entering the market in 2004, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
