Based on DLP technology, the 3D perception CompactView X30Basic projects images in a Standard-Portabel environment, with technical specs listing 3000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1600:1 and a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 2000 hours for this projector's lamp. Looking at practical performance, up to 477 cm can be illuminated with 3000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 318 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 28 decibels. This is a discontinued model that is no longer officially distributed by 3D perception.
