The NERO 3D 2 model is a 3D-BrilliantColor-DLP projector from SIM2, intended for High-End Homecinema applications, offering 2000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 30000:1 at HDTV 1920 x 1080. According to SIM2, the included lamp lasts up to 2000 hours. Regarding setup flexibility, the model features an optical lens shift function alongside digital keystone correction, allowing for precise alignment without distortion. For maximum setup flexibility, the model supports optional interchangeable lenses, meaning the optics can be precisely matched to individual on-site requirements. Suitable distances can be determined using the Lens Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 454 cm can be illuminated with 2000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 303 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. The projector was released in 2011 and is officially no longer distributed by SIM2. However, it remains frequently searched within our database.
