The PJ X6480 model from Ricoh combines DLP technology in the Stationary sector with 8800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 750:1 and a native XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 2500 hours. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Projector Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 8800 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 817 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 545 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. The built-in HDMI-MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) port enables screen mirroring from a smartphone while simultaneously charging it. The model is perfectly equipped for complex installations: In addition to the RJ45 jack for network administration, an HDBaseT port is available, transporting high-resolution AV signals over a single Cat cable. Since entering the market in 2018, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
