As a projector, the Barco Reality Sim 4 combines LCD technology with a resolution of SXGA 1280 x 1024, and is additionally specified with 1500 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 1300:1. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 1500 hours. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Projector Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 1500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 328 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 219 cm. This is a discontinued model that is no longer officially distributed by Barco.
